Prime surveyed lot with incredible views of the Western Maine Mountains (Bigelow, Sugarloaf, Abraham, Saddleback). An existing clearing (could be a great lawn surrounding a home) affords the view. There are no houses in the view and the forest edge at the margins of the clearing are part of the property, so the view can be enhanced or maintained and it would not be possible to build a house that would block the views. The well-drained lot is on the northwest flank of Loomis Hill which is the highest point in the area. The summit of Loomis Hill is within walking distance. Nearby Lake George Regional Park offers public access including swimming in a very clean and clear lake, and a public boat launch. The view of the mountains from December through April is of spectacular snow-capped mountains, especially from dawn until mid afternoon when the sun shines on the mountains. Later in the day mountains are more of a silhoutte (e.g. blue, or green) and the sunsets are wonderful.
